India will showcase its achievements at the 11th BRICS Energy Ministers‘ Meeting, scheduled to be held in Gurugram on June 25–26 under its BRICS Chair ship 2026. The meeting will bring together energy ministers and senior officials from all 11 BRICS nations to strengthen cooperation on security, sustainability, and innovation.

India Highlights Clean Energy Progress

The event will provide a platform for India to highlight its rapid expansion in renewable, modern power infrastructure, smart grid initiatives, energy storage, biofuels, and transmission networks. Discussions will focus on three key priorities—Energy Security and Sustainability, Energy Access and Equity, and Technology and Innovation—while promoting stronger collaboration among BRICS nations to support an affordable, resilient, and sustainable global future. India will also use the meeting to advance the priorities of the Global South and encourage cooperation on clean technologies and resilient supply chains.
