New Delhi: BRICS nations have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening global energy security by promoting diversified, resilient, and transparent energy supply systems. In a joint declaration, the member countries stressed the importance of ensuring stable energy access while supporting economic growth and the global clean energy transition.

Focus on Reliable and Sustainable Energy

The bloc highlighted the need to build resilient energy supply chains, expand investments in renewable energy, improve energy infrastructure, and encourage technological cooperation among member nations. BRICS also emphasized the strategic importance of critical minerals, cleaner energy technologies, and balanced energy policies that support both energy security and climate objectives.

The declaration reflects BRICS’ growing role in shaping a secure, affordable, and sustainable global energy future, particularly for emerging and developing economies, through stronger cooperation and long-term energy partnerships.
