Suzlon Energy has secured a 400 MW wind EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), marking another significant milestone in their renewable energy partnership. With this latest order, the cumulative capacity awarded by TPREL to Suzlon now exceeds 1 GW, reinforcing the companies’ shared commitment to accelerating India’s clean energy transition.

The project will be developed in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, where Suzlon will install 127 S144 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. As part of the EPC contract, the company will oversee the complete project lifecycle, including land development, turbine supply, balance of plant (BoP), transmission infrastructure, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance.

The repeat order reflects Tata Power Renewable Energy’s continued confidence in Suzlon’s execution capabilities and highlights the growing demand for large-scale wind energy projects in India. Once operational, the project will contribute to expanding renewable power capacity, improving energy security, and supporting the country’s net-zero ambitions.
