Hartek Power has secured a 400 MW utility-scale solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order in Rajasthan, strengthening its presence in India’s fast-growing renewable energy sector. The project comprises two 200 MW solar power plants with a combined capacity of 299.2 MWac/400 MWdc and marks another major milestone in the company’s utility-scale solar portfolio.

220 kV Pooling Substation to Strengthen Grid Integration

As part of the contract, Hartek will undertake the complete EPC scope, including engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar plants. The company will also build a 220 kV Solar Pooling Substation, which will facilitate efficient evacuation of power and ensure seamless integration of renewable energy into the national grid. The project is expected to improve grid reliability while supporting the expansion of clean energy infrastructure in Rajasthan.

According to the company, the order reflects growing confidence in Hartek’s engineering capabilities and project execution expertise. The development comes as India continues to accelerate investments in utility-scale solar projects and transmission infrastructure to achieve its target of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel-based energy capacity by 2030. The project is expected to contribute significantly to Rajasthan’s renewable energy ecosystem while supporting the country’s long-term clean energy transition.
